WARNING! READ THIS BEFORE CONTINUING!

The included document describes how to construct an appropriate footswitch for use with RemoteRecord. Although it is a fairly simple device to construct, you must be careful. These instructions must be followed accurately to prevent damage to your system. If you connect up the wrong pins you risk damaging your computer and connected devices. Again, you WILL DESTROY HARDWARE if you do not construct this correctly! In one reported incident an incorrect pin was connected, which caused a short and ruined a SB Live! and a MIDI cable. If you want to try out the software without committing to constructing a footswitch, you can substitute any commercial joystick.
