Dellorto Intake System for Rotaries
This page is dedicated to the Dellorto carburetor (48 DHLA) and intake system as produced by Racing Beat for Rotary engines. Dellorto stopped producing these carburetors in 1992. Apparently Lotus and Alfa Romeo were the last companies to use the DHLA in production. Once they switched to fuel injection Dellorto stopped mass production. Although I hear that they still produce spare parts
Once production of these carburetors stopped, Racing Beat had to stop producing their intake systems that used the Dellorto. Currently Racing Beat has a very small amount of spare parts and such and are not maintaining their inventory. They are also not willing to answer questions or supply any documentation about their old Dellorto systems. However, they have given me permission to place any of their Dellorto related documentation on this site. J
This site contains all of the relevant information I could get my hands on. There are the original Racing Beat documents, information I gleaned from the Net, and knowledge gained from my own experience. If anyone has additional or corrected information, email me (dave@gruntled.com) and I'll update this site.
